Easy Ways to Upgrade Your Apartment Patio & Balcony Hideaway
In this blog I am going to show you how to easily create your own patio / balcony hideaway!
1.) Rugs
Since your balcony is probably cement or metal, create a more cozy and homey feeling by adding a rug. Check out this boho styled balcony! The natural base rug adds a prefect touch and gives a down to earth vibe.

Or... Perhaps you are more of a colorful person? Try a chic decorative rug to add some color and character..

2.) Outdoor Furniture
3 Piece Rattan Rocking Chair Set
Here is a more compact two seater rattan chair that is simple. With this 2 seater, you can style it with some decorative pillows to really make it pop.

If you're looking for a cheaper and smaller alternative, add this cute outdoor set that includes 2 chairs and a table. I wouldn't consider this the most comfortable but it does look good on any balcony.
3.) Something to Keep You Warm
Nothing is cozier than grabbing your favorite fluffy blanket and cuddling up next the fire or a heater when its cold outside. Read your favorite book, drink some delicious hot cocoa, maybe even stream a movie on your laptop/phone.
Okay lets take it up a notch... check out this small portable 2 in 1 grill and fire pit. Roast some marshmallows with your significant other or best friends or use the charcoal net and make some hotdogs or burgers. Best part about this baby is that you can easily pack it up (it comes with a carrying bag) and you can store it or bring it to other events. It also comes with a spark guard so you (hopefully) won't burn down any apartment buildings or townhomes.
Okay, okay-- now I know a lot of you can't have a fire on your patio or balcony. I promise I didn't forget the point of this blog post. Well, for you guys.... I've got the perfect solution. Check out this convenient, small and portable tabletop propane heater. Perfect for any apartment or townhome patio where a firepit isn't a viable. Set it on a patio furniture table between a comfy set of chairs and enjoy the warmth.
4.) Lights
For the ones who get sun on their patio or balcony or just don't have access to an outlet in their outdoor space, I would recommend getting some energy saving solar lights to light up your night. If you don't want anything colorful or "too extra", then think about adding a little solar lamp.
Okay.. I had to add this one because I think it's just beautiful. This solar lamp projects intricate designs on the table!!

Or maybe you want something colorful and twinkly?? I got you. Check out these fun lights. These are perfect mood setting lights that really stand out. They also come in warm light if you'd like to keep it simple. These would look fantastic intertwined between balcony railings or used around the perimeter of your hideaway area.
5.) PRIVACY PLEASE
I am one who enjoys and (most of the time) prefers to have my own private space (hints: that's why I am a blogger). I love being in my own world and having the ability to shut out people and any distractions whenever I want. Especially when it comes to creepy Kevin... you know- that neighbor that's always eyeballing you while you're trying to catch some rays on the patio? Ehh... That is why I absolutely love this outdoor patio blind!! You can choose black or cream colored and there are a variety of different sizes to fit all patios and balconies.
